Our company, NCT INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS PLC, was awarded non-refundable funding of HUF 540,447,080 in December 2018 under the call for proposals “Support for R&D&I activities of small, medium-sized and large enterprises” from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund. Within the framework of R&D&I activities financed by the NRDI Fund, the complete mechanical, electrical, hardware and software development of the NCT-R six-axis robotic arm and its integration into the NCT-RC robotic cell were successfully implemented, along with the development of the NCT-R system and cell components, prototype manufacturing and the preparation of production documentation.
Within the scope of the project, three different sizes of robotic arms were developed: R3, R5 and R10. Each robotic arm features six rotary axes and is now produced in series. The respective weights of the models are 15 kg, 25 kg and 38 kg. Thanks to the dual-measurement, fully closed-loop measuring systems, the servicing of CNC machine tools has been significantly simplified, whether for CNC lathes, CNC machining centers or other CNC equipment. Nearly 30 years of experience at our company confirms that we have successfully achieved our research and development objectives and delivered projects of outstanding value to the national economy.

We have been awarded funding for our project entitled “Development and integration of the NCT-R six-axis robotic arm, including full mechanical, electrical, hardware and software development within the NCT-RC robotic cell.”
As part of the NRDI-funded R&D&I activities, the development and integration of the NCT-R robotic arm, cell components, prototype manufacturing and preparation of production documentation were successfully completed.
