HISTORY
The history of the Hungarian-owned NCT Zrt. is one of the defining pillars of CNC technology development in Hungary. Over decades of professional experience, our company has become an essential player in the Hungarian machine industry through a continuously evolving product portfolio, the introduction of new technologies, and industrial innovation. The timeline below highlights the key milestones of our journey:
1982
Year of NCT’s foundation and the birth of the first HUNOR PNC control system.
1990
NCT 90T (lathe) and NCT 90M (milling) controls debut at the Budapest International Fair.
2000
After years of development, the first ISO G-code (FANUC-compatible) NCT 99 control—later named NCT 2000—is introduced; production of NCT drives and NCT motors begins.
2002
The NCT 100 / 104 control family enters production, capable of 4–5 axis control and high-speed, high-precision machining (NSNP/HSHP).
2004
Implementation of the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.
2007
Our company expands with a new production area, increasing machine manufacturing capacity.
2010
NCT Academy Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd. is founded, opening new opportunities in education and research.
2011
The first NCT 200 series control is introduced, fundamentally transforming our company and opening new markets for NCT.
2013
Acquisition of the NCT Taksony Machine Tool Factory and relocation of machine tool manufacturing to the new site.
2016
Launch of the NCT 304 next-generation control family with REALTIME communication, enabling integration of many new functions and services.
2018
Simultaneous 5-axis (5D) control becomes available; the NCT product portfolio expands with new machining centers accordingly.
2019
Introduction of myNCT conversational programming and 3D solid-model graphics options.
2021
Prototype of the first Hungarian-made NCT-R5 industrial robot.
2023
Creation and presentation of the NCT 4 control prototype featuring a redesigned user interface and many new functions to meet modern requirements.
