NCT CUSTOMER SERVICE

In addition to our service activities, we offer supplementary services to help increase the productivity of your machine tools and ensure long-term reliable operation. Preventive maintenance and accuracy measurements can significantly improve equipment performance and extend service life. Our customer service team is at your disposal in the following areas:

  • arrow Machine tool accuracy measurements; linear, non-linear, and straightness compensation using a Renishaw XL-80 laser interferometer
  • arrow Static and dynamic machine tool testing with a RENISHAW QC-10 ballbar system
  • arrow Drawbar force checks on milling machines; chuck clamping force checks on lathes
  • arrow Vibration diagnostics of spindles and motors
  • arrow Preventive, scheduled maintenance of machine tools
  • arrow Machine relocation, dismantling, and coordination

Additional services – Service fees

NCT Service provides professional solutions for machine tool repair, maintenance, and spare-part supply. Our service fees are designed to be predictable and competitive, so our customers can plan costs in advance.

On-site repairs

All inspections are carried out for a fee of 60 EUR + VAT. This is when we determine which repair package the product belongs to. Grouped pricing has been introduced, meaning every NCT ELECTRONIC PRODUCT repair can be classified into one of the following categories: small / medium / large.

I. SMALL REPAIR
(60-00000457-00)
  • arrow Repair cost: 20% of the price of a new product + €60 handling fee.
  • arrow After disassembly, within 1 hour the root cause is IDENTIFIED (not repaired), and the repair can be completed without replacing parts or by replacing negligible-value part(s).
II. MEDIUM REPAIR
(60-00000458-00)
  • arrow Repair cost: 40% of the price of a new product + €60 handling fee.
  • arrow After disassembly, within 4 hours the root cause is IDENTIFIED (not repaired), and the repair can be completed without replacing main components.
III. MAJOR REPAIR
(60-00000459-00)
  • arrow Repair cost: 60% of the price of a new product + €60 handling fee.
  • arrow After disassembly, within 8 hours the root cause is IDENTIFIED (not repaired), or the repair can only be completed by replacing major component(s).

Attention

Additional important notes:

arrow The basic hourly rate of NCT Service applies on working days between 08:00–18:00.
arrow If the Customer reports a failure after 12:00 noon but still requests same-day repair, and NCT can only complete it after 18:00, we charge double the applicable rates for the 18:00–08:00 period.
arrow On weekends and public holidays, we charge double the applicable rates.
arrow Inspection and repair of HEIDENHAIN measuring systems and other HEIDENHAIN products are priced individually, based on NCT service rates, and may differ from the above.
